Vintage Wedding

I met with the couple and went through every detail. I suggested things that hadn’t crossed their minds and came up with alternatives to a few potential hurdles. The couple wanted a fuss free day that felt special. Following the meeting I was able to develop a plan for their wedding which included management on the day, staff, crockery and linen. We stayed in regular contact throughout the planning process so that arrangements could be altered right up to a few days before hand to ensure the service my team and I provided was tailor made to the couple’s exact specifications. The day before we went through the last minute detail. I managed the staff to serve the food and drink. I worked closely with the venue owner to seamlessly create the evening dance floor. I did not leave until the couple were completely happy.

Anniversary Celebrations

30 years of marriage is quite a mile stone and the clients wanted to celebrate in style with as many of their friends and family as possible. The biggest challenge was the entertainment due to the age range of the guests from 90 to 2 weeks old. I pitched the ideas to the client and they loved them. A brilliant roving magician who's magic is for adults and children did not disappoint. I sourced various suppliers that I managed to provide canapés, hog roast, salads and puddings. I bought in a team of staff to assist with the food, drink and clear up. I folded napkins, decorated the marquee, tended to flowers, laid tables and made cups of tea to keep the marquee company happy in their work. The guests danced the night away to a fantastic local band that I found and who stole the show.

Crocker 'Shocker'

My journey with Michelle & Luke started 10 months prior to their Wedding day. They had already found the venue and friends were providing the catering. What they needed were waiting staff and someone to mange the day for them. As soon as I spoke with Michelle on the phone I knew we would get on, a bride to be who was calm and full of amazing ideas. I knew it was going to be a fantastic day. Emails back and forth, Skype calls and a face to face meeting we had a plan and I couldn't wait for the 15th April 2017. My philosophy of calmness, friendliness and nothing is too much trouble is what I pride myself on and with my six members of staff in tow we were there bright eyed and bushy tailed with a friendly smile. I met with Luke & Michelle the day before at the beautiful venue The Old Dairy, Hatherden where I laid tables and went through the order of the day. I met the rest of the bridal party and the best man who were all busy helping to make the barn look beautiful. Whilst I set the tables they hung 100s of fairy lights and with one of the bridal party considering a career change to floristry they had all done a brilliant job. Every detail was accounted for down to the hashtag of #shockerwedding for social media. The day went without a hitch no rain in sight so guests were able to enjoy gin cocktails and canapés on the lawn served by my staff. This was followed by speeches and then some amazing Texas BBQ food which myself and my team worked closely with the caterers to provide a smooth service. Mr & Mrs Crocker had asked their guests to provide cakes for the bake off table which they judged and we presented for pudding which went down a treat. I knew my work was complete the bride and groom were having a ball and so were their guests. I could not have thanked my team enough that evening they went above and beyond my expectations! Each wedding I do is special and unique and why I provide exactly what the couple want. Congratulations to Mr & Mrs Crocker.
